Over 40 Years of Serving Martial Artists

For over 40 years, Macho has been setting the standards for the martial arts industry. 8th degree Tae Kwon Do black belt Grandmaster Soo Se Cho began the company in 1980 after recognizing a need for greater safety in martial arts training and competition. Armed with nearly 30 years of martial arts training and teaching experience from Korea to Turkey to the U.S., Master Cho passionately designed Macho’s original line of martial arts sparring gear, enlisting his own Tae Kwon Do students to try out his inventions, advances and improvements.

As Macho grew, it maintained Master Cho’s vision of integrity for quality improvements and became the prime innovator in manufacturing martial arts gear and training equipment. From introducing the first headgear to the martial arts market to perfecting product performance and safety innovations that are now considered standard, Macho has been raising the level of competition in martial arts for 40 years.

We’ve helped school owners bring up generations of competitors and have collaborated with some of the biggest names in martial arts history. They inspire greatness. They are part of the Macho success story.
