Visionary trainer and father figure who discovered and developed Mike Tyson. Also trained Floyd Patterson and Jose Torres to world titles. Creator of the peek-a-boo boxing style — high guard, head movement, explosive combinations from tight angles. Died in 1985 before Tyson won the world title, but his methods and philosophy shaped the most feared heavyweight of a generation. One of the most influential boxing minds of the 20th century.
