Marvin Hagler vs. Thomas Hearns for the Undisputed Middleweight Championship. Eight minutes of pure war. Widely regarded as the greatest fight of the 1980s and one of the most thrilling bouts in boxing history. The first round is frequently cited as the greatest round ever fought — both men trading thunderous shots at full pace with no defensive caution whatsoever. Hagler, bleeding above the eye from round one, refused to take a step back and stopped Hearns in the third round. A testament to warrior spirit and the raw brutality of elite boxing.
