Michel Wedel is one of the most respected Kyokushin Karate practitioners in the Netherlands. A national and international champion known for his technical skills and ability to perform under pressure, Wedel built a competitive record that placed him among the best of his generation. He later transitioned into coaching and mentoring, training numerous champions and actively promoting Kyokushin through seminars, competitions and workshops. His commitment to the core values of Kyokushin - respect, discipline and perseverance - is reflected both in his competitive career and in the way he passes the art on to students. Wedel's contribution to Dutch Kyokushin as both fighter and instructor has made him a lasting and influential figure in the community.
