The only heavyweight champion in history to retire undefeated — 49 wins, 49 fights, 43 KOs. Known for relentless pressure, granite chin and devastating right hand. Held the Heavyweight title from 1952 to 1956. Died in a plane crash the day before his 46th birthday. His unbeaten record remains one of sport's most remarkable achievements.
