Steven López

Steven López is the most decorated World Taekwondo (WT) competitor in history. The American champion won five World Championship gold medals and two Olympic gold medals (Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004), plus an Olympic bronze at Beijing 2008 - a career spanning two decades at the very top of the sport. Powerful, technically precise and mentally unbreakable, López redefined what WT championship Taekwondo could look like and remains the gold standard for the Olympic discipline.
