Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and one of the most prominent fighters of MMA's early mainstream era. Held the UFC light heavyweight title for over three years and made seven successful defences. His bitter rivalry with Chuck Liddell defined the light heavyweight division in the early 2000s. Known as 'The Huntington Beach Bad Boy', Ortiz was one of MMA's first genuine crossover stars.
