Randy Couture was born on 22 June 1963 in Lynwood, Washington. 5x UFC World Champion across two weight classes - one of the greatest and most decorated fighters in MMA history. 3x UFC Heavyweight Champion, 2x UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. The first fighter ever to win titles in two different weight classes in the UFC. He won the UFC 13 Heavyweight Tournament and continued competing at elite level well into his forties. Before MMA, Couture served as a sergeant in the US Army and was a decorated Greco-Roman wrestler. That wrestling base gave him exceptional clinch control and takedown ability, which he combined with steadily improving striking to become a complete fighter. His ability to reinvent himself, overcome adversity and compete against fighters half his age made him an inspiration to an entire generation.
