My name is Gabriël and I have been doing an internship at Fight2win for a month now. I'm having a lot of fun and I'm learning a lot about martial arts and the items we sell to practice the sports. The latest film in the boxing franchise Creed was recently released (Creed 3). Since I have already seen all the previous parts, I of course had to see this part in the cinema. I decided to go to the movies with my cousins after I finished my work day at the internship. I also told about the film here and then we decided that it would be a nice idea to write a small blog about the film.
Creed 3 is the latest installment in the popular boxing franchise and fans have been eagerly awaiting its release. The film promises to deliver all the pulse-pounding action and emotional drama that audiences have come to expect from the Creed series. If you have seen the previous editions of Creed, you know that a lot of attention is paid to the road to the top. In the previous films you see Adonis Creed training with former boxer Rocky Balboa to become world champion.
Creed 3 is different
In Creed 3 things are slightly different, Adonis has stopped being a boxer after becoming champion in part 2. Now he focuses on his gym and wants to help young talent to become as great as he is. He now runs the gym together with his old trainer Duke and one great boxing talent has emerged who is so good that there are no longer any sparring partners who dare to fight him.
Creed 3 gives us a completely different view of Adonis than what we are used to from the previous parts. We see a young version of him return in the film and that is something we have not seen before in the previous 2 editions. This gives a kind of feeling of relief, because the previous two parts were very similar in terms of story, they now go in a completely different direction and that made it even more exciting and fun.
In this story, Adonis's old best friend (Dame) returns. He used to be one of the best boxers of his age, but due to unfortunate circumstances it never happened. In the film, Dame comes back into Adonis' life after a long time and now his goal is to get back to the highest level, so he asks Adonis for help, but in the end the film takes a completely different turn...
What sets Creed 3 apart from its predecessors is the new creative team behind the camera. Director Michael B. Jordan, who also stars as Adonis Creed, delivers a fresh take on the franchise and promises to take the story in exciting new directions. Of course, no Creed film would be complete without a cast of talented actors. In addition to Jordan, the film features returning stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and Wood Harris, as well as newcomers Jonathan Majors and Indya Moore.

What struck me about the film was that Cleto Reyes' fighting gear was used during the boxing matches, as well as the heavy training that took place. After the film I really got the feeling that I could take on the world and I really thought to myself what it would be like if I could fight as well as the actors in the film. Looking at the body of Michael B. Jordan and/or that of Jonathan Mayors only gives me more motivation to train and one day have a body like that.
