Punching bags in various types, sizes, and weights—for kickboxing, thai boxing, and boxing

Fight2Win has punching bags in various lengths—from 100 cm to 180 cm—and weights for every athlete and discipline. Super Pro is the leading brand in the range, with bags such as the Combat 2.0, Teardrop, and Uppercut—each with its own shape and training purpose.

The shape of the punching bag partly determines which techniques you train with it. A straight bag is versatile for punches and kicks. A teardrop is ideal for uppercuts and knee strikes. A maizebag trains timing and reflexes.

Super Pro punching bags – Combat 2.0, Teardrop and Uppercut

Super Pro is the leading brand for punching bags at Fight2Win—a Dutch brand with more than 45 years of experience in martial arts equipment. The Combat 2.0 is the versatile standard bag for kickboxing and thai boxing. The Teardrop and Uppercut are specialized shapes for specific techniques.

Super Pro punching bags are filled and ready for training—sturdy, well-filled, and built to withstand intensive use in the gym or at home.

XPRT Phantom and maize bag – timing and reflex training

The XPRT Phantom is a versatile punching bag for kickboxing and thai boxing—firmly filled and suitable for punches and kicks. The Super Pro Maizebag is a different type of bag—smaller and more mobile, ideal for training timing, speed, and reflexes.

A maize bag moves with every strike and forces the athlete to keep moving and anticipate—an effective addition to regular punching bag training.

Aquabags and hydrobags – safe home training without floor impact

Aquabags and hydrobags are filled with water instead of sand or textile, making them lighter to transport and safer for the joints thanks to water’s natural shock absorption. Ideal for training at home, where a heavy traditional punching bag is not practical.

The water-filled core moves with every hit and simulates the resistance of a real opponent better than a rigidly filled bag—popular with athletes who want to train realistically.

Mounting materials – swivel, spring and wall mount for hanging

Hanging a punching bag requires the right mounting hardware. A swivel allows the bag to rotate freely without twisting the chain. A spring absorbs the shocks and reduces the load on the mounting point. A wall mount is the solution when no beam or ceiling is available.

Fight2Win offers all the necessary mounting hardware, so your punching bag hangs safely and securely for every training session.

Speed bags, double end balls and wallbags – supplementary training equipment

In addition to the classic punching bag, Fight2Win also has speedballs, double end balls, and wallbags. A speedball trains rhythm, speed, and coordination. A double end ball moves in all directions and trains timing and precision. A wallbag is a compact bag for mounting on the wall—ideal when space is limited.

Each type of training equipment develops different skills—a varied punching bag workout with multiple types of bags and balls makes an athlete more versatile and technically stronger.

Frequently asked questions — Punching bags

Can I leave a punching bag hanging outside?

No.

Leaving your punching bag hanging outside is not good for it. Direct sunlight, heat, and rain can damage your punching bag. Moisture can also cause mold to grow in the filling and make the chains rust.

You can risk it, but preferably keep it under a canopy and, for example, cover it with large rubble bags after use.

Can a punching bag withstand rain?

No, not really.

But even without rain, it’s humid outside.

The chains may start to rust over time, and moisture can cause mold to develop in the filling.

You can use a punching bag outdoors, but preferably under a canopy, and cover it after use, for example with large rubble bags. Even better, bring it indoors after use and store it in a dry, well-ventilated space.

How do I hang a punching bag?

To hang a punching bag, first determine the right location, choose a sturdy mounting system, and hang the punching bag at the correct height. Pay attention to the system’s stability and safety.

How to proceed:

  • Determine the location: choose a spot with enough space around the punching bag so you can move freely around it. Make sure it is a sturdy place where the punching bag can be attached, such as a concrete ceiling, a solid beam, or a load-bearing wall.
  • Choose a mounting system: you can choose between a ceiling bracket (hook) and a wall mount. A ceiling bracket is often the best option for stability and offers more flexibility. Make sure the mounting system can support the weight of the punching bag, including the movement during training.
  • Install the mounting system: drill holes in the ceiling or wall (depending on your chosen system) and securely attach the bracket or mount with the appropriate screws or bolts.
  • Hang the punching bag: attach the punching bag’s chains or hanging strap to the mounting system.
  • Set the height: ideally, the top of the punching bag should hang approximately 10 cm higher than your own height, possibly adding the length of the chains. Also make sure that the punching bag hangs at least 30 cm above the ground.
  • Check the stability: gently shake the punching bag to check whether the system is sturdy enough.

What does a swivel do?

For punching bags:

A swivel (also called a rotary joint) for a punching bag allows the bag to rotate freely. This means that the forces exerted on the punching bag are less direct and intense, extending the punching bag’s lifespan.

For speedballs:

These swivels are specifically designed for speedball training and contain ball bearings for smoother rotation.

What is the difference between a bisonyl and a PU punching bag?

Bisonyl is a virtually indestructible synthetic material, stitched extra firmly and ideal for intensive use in the gym and at home. PU (polyurethane) is more flexible, maintenance-free, and slightly softer to the touch—as with the Super Pro maizebag.

What mounting material do I need for a punching bag?

For a complete mounting setup, you need at least a wall bracket or ceiling hook. Optionally, you can add a swivel (for unrestricted rotation) and a spring (for noise reduction). All this mounting material is available from Fight2Win.
