Origin of the Hayabusa brand

Hayabusa (pronounced Ha-Ja-Boe-Sa) is the Japanese word for peregrine falcon (pelegrine falcon in English), which is the fastest animal on earth (a bird of prey clocked at more than 500 km per hour in a dive). The company was founded in 2006 by Ken & Craig Clement, David Zikakis and Luke Harris and has literally taken off since then.

Hayabusa's original offering consisted of a series of fighting gloves, rash guards and the famous iconic fight shorts. After all, these were the basic necessities for the gladiators of modern times: MMA fighters. These products were developed with a philosophy that the products were suitable and met a new era of modern athletes.
