In 1978, one of the first martial arts stores in the Netherlands opened in Rotterdam - the city that was always considered the boxing capital of the Netherlands. Home to Olympic champion Bep van Klaveren "The Dutch Windmill" (1928), WBO world champion Regilio Tuur, and many other professional boxers.

From that store, the brand Super Pro Boxing Gear grew with the slogan "the champions choice" - and for many champions, that was literally true. The brand quickly established its place in the Dutch boxing community and was then exported throughout Europe.

At the end of the 1990s, the famous kickboxing trainer Dennis Krauweel took over the brand. He traveled around the world with his fighters—from Japan to the United States—and developed Super Pro into an internationally recognized brand by sponsoring the Super League events broadcast throughout Europe.

One of Super Pro’s best-known faces is Rico Verhoeven —one of the best, if not the best, Dutch kickboxers ever. In 2018, Dennis and Sportief BV joined forces: Dennis’s brand expertise and community combined with years of production and distribution experience.

Super Pro covers the full range of boxing training equipment. Punching bags in various shapes (teardrop, uppercut, combat), speedballs and double end balls for speed and timing, kicking shields and punching shields for pad training, plus a complete line of gymbags, boxing apparel, and handwraps.

The maizebag, wallbag and freestanding boxing bag are also part of the range—everything a boxing or kickboxing gym needs, all under one brand with a proven track record since 1978.

The Combat Club line includes boxing trunks and singlets in the classic black-and-white, red-and-white, and blue-and-white color combinations. Made from the finest-quality lightweight polyester, with long legs and a wide elastic waistband—unisex and suitable for both training and competition.

The handwraps from Super Pro are available in an optimal blend of cotton and nylon with light stretch, a thumb loop, and a hook-and-loop closure—in the Combat, Thailand, and Cartoon designs, supplied per pair.
