In Krav Maga, safe training starts with the right protective gear. The essentials: boxing gloves (with hook-and-loop closure, for stand-up training and sparring), shin guards (for kicking techniques), a groinguard (for men and women—especially important in Krav Maga because of its realistic attack techniques), and a mouthguard.
