Adidas has been active in the boxing world for over 50 years and has sponsored some of the greatest boxers in history. In the 1970s and 1980s, the brand was the official apparel brand for the Olympic boxing matches . Adidas has also designed and produced many well-known boxing gloves and other boxing equipment.
