There is always a model to suit your level and training goals. Below, you will find everything about the models, materials, lengths and applications—so you can choose the right one with confidence.

Jumping rope – the most fundamental training tool in martial arts

Jumping rope is not a side issue—it is the foundation. Boxers, kickboxers, Muay Thai fighters, and MMA fighters use the jump rope daily to train conditioning, footwork, coordination, and rhythm No other training tool combines so many benefits in so little space and time.

A jump rope trains the legs and core as a foundation, improves breathing efficiency under pressure, and sharpens the timing you need in the ring or on the mat. Boxers use it as a warm-up, cardio tool, and technique training all at once.

Fight2Win offers a wide range of jump ropes—from simple entry-level models for beginners to professional speedropes and weighted systems for advanced martial artists. From Rival, Winning, Booster, and Ropejumpr to our own Fight2Win Classic Speedrope.

From entry-level models to premium systems – the right jump rope for every martial artist

The jump rope range at Fight2Win ranges from a simple entry-level model to a professional interchangeable system with multiple cables. The choice depends on your level, training goal, and how seriously you use the jump rope.

Entry-level models such as the Booster P2 and the Rival Economy are lightweight, easy to adjust, and suitable for warm-ups and cardio training. Ideal for beginners or athletes looking for a reliable basic model.

Speed ropes such as the Rival Pro, Aluminum Grip, and Comfort Grip are equipped with ball bearings and steel cables for high rotational speed. The choice for boxers working on speed, double-unders, and technique.

Weighted jump ropes such as the Rival Weighted Jumprope and the Everlast Weighted add resistance to training—for extra arm strength, shoulder stability, and endurance.

Premium systems such as the Rival Platinum, the Ropejumpr Complete Set, and the Winning F-16 and F-66 offer interchangeable cables, premium materials, and a professional training experience. For the serious martial artist who takes jump rope training seriously.

The right jump rope length – 300 cm is the standard for adult martial artists

Most jump ropes in the Fight2Win range have a standard length of 300 to 305 cm - the common size for adult men and women. All models are adjustable, so you can set the rope precisely to your height.

A good rule of thumb: stand on the middle of the rope and pull the ends upward—the handles should reach your armpits. A rope that is too long jumps erratically, while one that is too short leaves too little room for a smooth rotation.

The Winning F-16 has a maximum length of 240 cm, and the Winning F-66 of 260 cm—both are heavier and shorter than the average speedrope, reflecting the Japanese boxing tradition of powerful, compact jumping.

The Booster Thai P1 comes with 290 cm handles and can be weighted with water or sand in the wooden handles—a unique feature that sets it apart from all other models in the range.

Material and weight determine your training—from plastic to leather and steel

The material of a jump rope determines how it feels, how quickly it rotates, and what kind of training it supports. The Fight2Win range can be divided into three main categories.

Plastic and PVC - the most common choice. Lightweight, flexible, and suitable for high rotation speeds. The Rival RJR4 series, Booster P2, and Rival Economy fall into this category. Ideal for warm-ups, fitness, and beginners.

Steel with PVC coating - the choice for speed ropes and premium models. The steel cable rotates faster and more accurately than a PVC cable and is more durable under intensive use. The Rival Pro, Aluminum Grip, Comfort Grip, Weighted Jumprope, Platinum, and Ropejumpr Complete Set all use a PVC-coated steel cable.

Leather - exclusively used in the Winning F-16. An 8 mm leather cable is heavier, slower, and provides more resistance with each swing. The traditional choice in classic boxing—for arm strength, rhythm, and discipline. Made in Japan, 300 grams, maximum 240 cm.

Weighted - the Rival Weighted Jumprope, the Everlast Weighted, and the Ropejumpr Complete Set offer interchangeable or removable weights for progressive resistance. The Winning F-66 is heavy as a whole—a 400-gram, 8 mm plastic cable.

Jump ropes for boxing, kickboxing, thai boxing, MMA and cardio training

The jump rope is a universal training tool—but its use varies by sport and training goal.

In boxing it is essential for footwork, rhythm, and breathing efficiency. The Winning F-16 and F-66 are the classic choice of serious boxers—heavy, slow, and demanding. The Rival speedropes are the modern alternative—fast, lightweight, and suitable for high-intensity training.

In kickboxing and thai boxing the jump rope is primarily used as a warm-up and conditioning tool. The Booster Thai P1 has its roots in Thai training traditions—wooden handles, a thick cable, and the option to add weight with water or sand.

In MMA combines cardio with coordination and footwork—essential for a sport in which athletic ability is just as important as technique. The Ropejumpr Complete Set with three interchangeable cables is particularly well suited for this.

In cardio and personal training every model can be used—from the Booster P2 as an entry-level model to the Rival Platinum as a premium speedrope. The jump rope burns calories efficiently and can be used anywhere and anytime without a gym or equipment.

Maintaining Jump ropes – this is how to make them last longer

A jump rope requires little maintenance, but a few basic rules can significantly extend its lifespan.

Steel cables with PVC coating - Check the cable regularly for wear, kinks, or damage. Preferably jump on a wooden floor, rubber mat, or grass—concrete and asphalt wear down the coating faster. Store the rope coiled, not knotted or compressed.

Plastic and PVC cables - Sensitive to heat and UV light. Do not store them in direct sunlight or a hot car. Wiping them with a dry cloth after use prevents sweat and dirt from accumulating in the handles.

Leather cables (Winning F-16) - Leather requires extra care. Occasionally treat the cable with a leather cleaner or conditioner to prevent it from drying out and cracking. Store at room temperature, away from moisture.

Ball bearings - The core of every speedrope. If the rope turns stiffly or irregularly, the bearings are worn or dirty. Some models, such as the Rival Platinum and the Ropejumpr Complete Set, have replaceable cables—so you only replace the worn component without throwing away the entire rope.

Replaceable cables are not only convenient for training variety—they also extend the lifespan of the system as a whole.
