Boxing handwraps for extra reinforcement of fists and knuckles
Hand wraps are used under boxing gloves in boxing and kickboxing. A hand wrap helps you form a compact fist and provides extra protection for your knuckles and fingers. It also absorbs sweat from your hands, keeping your boxing gloves in good condition and smelling fresh.
Standard hand wraps are wrapped around the hand, and then the boxing gloves are pulled on over them. We usually sell them in lengths of 250 cm (100 inches) and 450 cm (180 inches). For women and girls, we have fun colors like purple and pink. Alternatives include inner gloves or gel wraps . These have gel padding on the top for extra protection of the knuckles. Want to try them on first? Then visit our store in Capelle aan den IJssel.
Benefits of using handwraps in boxing and kickboxing
We always recommend using hand wraps. The main benefit is that your fist becomes compact . This allows you to punch harder and reduces the risk of nasty injuries. Another major advantage is that the hand wraps absorb sweat. This prevents sweat from seeping into your boxing gloves. And they also smell less quickly! And that's a nice bonus.
Some advantages of boxing handwraps:
