Budo is the umbrella name for the (Japanese) martial arts. This includes Karate, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. With most martial arts, such as karate, you need a special martial arts suit - also called a gi. The term Mudo is less well known. This is the umbrella term for Quranic martial arts. Practitioners of the arts are called Budoka and Mudoin respectively.
