Budo is the umbrella term for Japanese martial arts—from Karate and Judo to Jiu-Jitsu and BJJ. Mudo is its Korean counterpart: the umbrella term for Korean martial arts such as Taekwon-do, Tang Soo Do, Hapkido and Kempo.
