Booster Fight Gear was founded in 1994 by Yves Vyvey after a tour of Thailand—the birthplace of Muay Thai. What began as a personal fascination with Thai martial arts grew into one of Europe's largest importers of professional boxing equipment from Thailand. Vyvey got to know the sport from the inside, trained with Thai champions, and built direct relationships with the country's best manufacturers.

That direct connection with Thailand remains at the heart of Booster to this day: gear made by people who understand the sport, for athletes who take the sport seriously. The CEO's motto says it all: "Giving back to Muay Thai."

Booster bvba grew into the largest buyer and distributor of boxing equipment from Thailand in Europe. It was the original and is still the only European distributor for the top Thai brand Twins Special - later complemented by King Pro Boxing and many other brands. Booster currently supplies hundreds of stores across Europe.

That distribution network is also why Booster can price its own brand so competitively: direct purchasing at the source, without intermediaries, with the economies of scale of the largest player in the segment.
