Kung Fu (China) and Wushu are two popular terms that have become synonymous with Chinese Martial arts . However, the two Chinese terms have very different meanings. Wushu can be interpreted in many different ways as being traditions in the martial arts. Kung-Fu, on the other hand, can be used in any context - even outside of martial arts.

Kung Fu (gung fu) describes an accomplishment or skill of techniques, which is achieved through long and hard work. Wushu is a more precise term to indicate that it concerns activities in the field of martial arts.

Training schedules of Chinese Martial arts generally consist of the following components: basic techniques, forms, applications of self-defense techniques and weapons training. Of course, each style has its own syllabus.
