Make the bit fit

The mouthguard must be pre-shaped to your jaw the first time before use. You do this by placing the Hayabusa mouthguard in a bowl of hot water and then putting it in your mouth. Make sure you don't do this too quickly as you might burn your mouth! Always read the supplied description first!

You boil water in a saucepan, remove it from the heat for 20 seconds. Then place the mouthguard in the water for a short time until it softens. Origin of the Hayabusa brand

Hayabusa (pronounced Ha-Ja-Boe-Sa) is the Japanese word for peregrine falcon (pelegrine falcon in English), which is the fastest animal on earth (a bird of prey clocked at more than 500 km per hour in a dive).
