Maintaining children’s kickboxing gear – how to keep the set fresh and in good condition for longer
Children sweat heavily and often forget to air out their gear after training. Boxing gloves and shin guards that are not properly maintained wear out faster and become breeding grounds for bacteria. A few simple habits significantly extend their lifespan: air out the gear after every training session, wipe the inside with a damp cloth, and never store it in a closed bag.
Shin guards are generally washable at 30°C—always check the care label. Do not wash boxing gloves in the washing machine; instead, clean them from the inside with an antibacterial spray.
