The T3 LX Retro is made from 100% premium full-grain Italian leather - softer, richer in texture, and with a character that molds to the hand. Both models share the same Dual-X closure, Y-Volar palm, and XT2 lining.
4 oz for competition and grappling, 7 oz for sparren and training
4 oz MMA gloves are the competition model—with minimal padding and maximum finger movement for grappling, clinching, and ground work. They are also ideal for technical pad training where precision matters more than protection.
7 oz gloves provide more padding and are therefore more suitable for sparren - they protect both you and your training partner better during contact. For beginners and recreationalists, 7 oz is the most versatile choice.

Is Hayabusa's Vylar-2 just as good as genuine leather?
