Synthetic leather (Booster, Winning) - same basic routine as Polyurethane and Bisonyl. Winning's high-quality synthetic leather is particularly durable—under normal use and with proper storage, the shield will last for many years without noticeable wear.

Leather (Cleto Reyes, Twins) - Leather requires a regular care routine. Wipe after every training session with a dry or slightly damp cloth and allow to dry completely before storage.
