Kickboxing gloves are available in three clear categories:

Entry-level (synthetic leather, hook-and-loop): XPRT Enforcer V4 and Competitor V1 - the best-selling entry-level models for beginners and children. Synthetic leather, hook-and-loop, lightweight and comfortable. King Pro Boxing Revo 4 - synthetic leather, with a slightly sturdier finish.

Training / all-round (leather or VYLAR®-2, hook-and-loop): XPRT Pro V3 - 100% leather, hook-and-loop, the bestseller at Fight2Win for Training and light sparren. XPRT Top Gloves - 100% leather, an affordable entry-level model in genuine leather. Hayabusa T3 - VYLAR®-2 (Hayabusa's own synthetic material), excellent fit and durability.

The right size of kickboxing gloves. How to choose the right weight.

answer: The weight of kickboxing gloves (in oz) determines the amount of padding—for yourself as well as your training partner. The heavier the glove, the more protection it provides.

Guideline based on body weight:

• up to 50 kg - 10 oz
• 50–70 kg - 12 oz (training) or 14 oz (sparren)
• 70–85 kg - 14 oz (training) or 16 oz (sparren)
• over 85 kg - 16 oz or 18 oz

Use:

• Bag work and pads - 12 oz or 14 oz is sufficient
• Sparren - always at least 14 oz, preferably 16 oz for your partner's safety
• Competition - weight determined by the organization (usually 10 oz)

Children: 2 oz to 10 oz depending on age and weight.

Kickboxing gloves are versatile and are used in multiple combat sports:

Kickboxing - the primary sport. All models in this collection are suitable for kickboxing training and sparring.

Thai boxing / Muay Thai - the same gloves are used. For clinch work, the  Twins BGVL3 are popular in Thai gyms because of their more flexible construction.

Cardio boksen and fitness - a lighter glove (10-12 oz) is sufficient. The  XPRT Enforcer V4 and  King Pro Boxing Revo are good choices.

Krav Maga - hook-and-loop gloves are the standard. The  XPRT Competitor V1 and  Enforcer V4 are widely used.

MMA - regular boxing gloves are used for "standup fighting." For sparring, MMA-specific gloves are better.

Kickboxing gloves come into frequent contact with sweat (your own and your training partner’s) and require regular maintenance.

After every training session:

• Allow the gloves to air-dry in a well-ventilated place—never put them directly into a bag
• Use an antibacterial spray (Sukkiri or FreshKO) to inhibit bacterial growth
• Use an deodorizer to help the gloves dry faster from the inside

Synthetic leather (Enforcer V4, Competitor V1, King Pro Boxing):

• Wipe with a damp cloth after use; do not immerse

VYLAR®-2 (Hayabusa T3):

• Wipe with a damp cloth; do not immerse
• Hayabusa does not recommend using leather grease on VYLAR®-2

100% leather (XPRT Pro V3, Top Gloves, Twins BGVL3, Hayabusa T3 LX):

• Wipe with a damp cloth
• Periodically treat with leather grease to keep the leather supple
• Do not dry in direct sunlight

Always: use handwraps or inner gloves—this significantly extends their lifespan.
