After every training session - wipe the shield with a slightly damp cloth to remove sweat and dirt. Allow it to dry completely before storage. Polyurethane is completely moisture-resistant—sweat does not affect the material under normal use.

Storage - store the RPS7 in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to UV light may eventually cause the Polyurethane to discolor. In a gym, this is rarely a problem—for home use, it is worth avoiding storing the shield permanently in direct sunlight.

Handles and seams - periodically check the handles and seams for wear. With intensive daily use in a gym, these are the most heavily stressed parts of the shield. At the first signs of wear on the seams or handles, replacement is recommended.
