Cleto Reyes boxing gloves are available in 12 oz, 14 oz, 16 oz, and 18 oz (depending on the model). The right choice depends on your body weight and intended use:

12 oz - lighter boxers (up to ~65 kg), padwork, and technique training

14 oz - the most versatile option, suitable for most adults for sparring and training

16 oz - heavyweight boxers and intensive sparring; extra protection for you and your sparring partner

18 oz - only available in the Velcro Sparring line; for heavy sparring or at the trainer's request

Cleto Reyes boxing gloves are primarily designed for boxing and are used at the highest professional level. Thanks to their compact shape, light weight, and excellent wrist support they are also popular with kickboxing and thai boxing.

They are approved by all major boxing associations and are used in professional competitions worldwide. They are not suitable for MMA or grappling—for those, you need open-finger gloves .

The gloves are intended exclusively for adults. For children and young people, we recommend the youth boxing gloves in our range.

Cleto Reyes boxing gloves are made of top-quality leather and will last through many intense training sessions with proper care .A few tips:

After every training session — let the gloves air out completely. Never put them straight in your bag. Use a deodorizer or place a towel inside to absorb moisture.

Leather care — regularly treat the leather with a good leather cream or leather grease to prevent drying out and cracking.

Do not wash — never put the gloves in the washing machine. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth.

Dry storage — store them in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.

The latex-foam padding is naturally moisture-resistant, but the leather exterior does require regular care.
