The RNFL100 Professional (FeatherLite foam, lace-up closure, black and gold or white and gold) is the premium line.

From RNFL Pro is the first professional groinguard Rival has ever made—and still the only anatomically correct groinguard on the market. Made from lightweight 3D-mesh with a microfiber lining and 20mm dual-density foam padding.

The curved back and dual hook-and-loop closure provide a non-slip fit that suits almost everyone.

From RNFL10 is made of leather and microfiber with 15mm foam padding and an elastic hook-and-loop closure that conforms to the lower body, including the groin and legs.

Made from Super Rich microfiber PU with a soft Nash lining and strategically placed flex pleats for maximum mobility. The flexible lace-up closure at the back provides a securely adjustable fit.

The Rival Guerrero is the most comprehensive groinguard in the range—fully made of leather with a hard foam core for maximum shock absorption.

The double-lacing system at the back allows precise adjustment for a perfect fit to the contours of the body. Adjustable elastic leg straps with durable clips keep the protector securely in place during all boxing movements.

Is a groinguard mandatory?

Yes, usually.

A groinguard is often mandatory or recommended. For boxing, kickboxing, and karate training, for example, it is recommended. In krav maga and self-defense systems, it is mandatory. The area protected by the groinguard is naturally highly susceptible to injury.

For exams and competitions, a groinguard is always mandatory for both men and women.

What size groinguard should I get?

When choosing the size of groinguards, the waist circumference is the main consideration, rather than the cup size itself. For each groinguard, we have included a unique size chart (in the size selector and below in the product information) for that specific brand and model.

What does Feather-Lite mean?

Feather Lite simply means two principles:

  1. Maximum performance and protection
  2. The lightest possible materials

Rival Boxing Gear strives to apply the principles of Feather Lite to as many products as possible: providing our customers with maximum performance and protection combined with the lightest possible materials.

Rival strives to reduce the dimensions and weight of the materials while maintaining the same performance. This ensures efficiency. If we can find a lighter, thinner material that offers the same performance and durability as something heavier or more traditional, such as leather, we will do so. Innovation and attention to detail are the Rival way!

Is Rival's Super Rich Microfiber just as strong as genuine leather?

Yes. This material has been proven to be at least as strong as genuine leather. In addition, it retains its color better and is less susceptible to tearing and temperature fluctuations.
