Anber, a respected boxing trainer and coach, had an in-depth understanding of what fighters needed to improve their skills and excel in the ring. With this background and expertise, he aimed to produce high-quality equipment that would meet fighters’ needs.
That depends on the sport, type of practice, and competition rules. A groinguard may be recommended or required during training, but there is no universal rule that applies equally to every martial art, every exam, and every participant.
Check the equipment requirements for your training session or event and choose a model designed for that purpose. A proper fit and secure fastening remain important, even when the groinguard is required.
What size groinguard should I get?
Use the size chart for the groinguard in question. For many models, waist circumference is the starting point, but the fit and dimensions of the protective parts vary by model.
A waist measurement therefore does not guarantee that every cup or protector fits equally well. Compare the listed measurements and check the positioning and fastening; do not use the chart for another model.
Feather-Lite is Rival's term for a design approach that combines low weight with the product's intended function. It is not a separate type of material.
The specific covering, padding and intended use vary by model. The name alone does not establish a specific level of protection or guarantee a particular lifespan.
Is Rival's Super Rich Microfiber just as strong as genuine leather?
Super Rich is Rival's synthetic microfiber covering, designed as an alternative to leather. The material is practical for regular training and does not need to be treated with leather grease. The lifespan of the entire glove also depends on the stitching, padding, how it is used, and proper drying. The material name alone therefore does not tell you which glove will last the longest.
