The BGN model was specially developed for the European and Dutch market, as more boxing techniques are applied in training here than in traditional Muay Thai in Thailand. The Twins BGN is available in more weights than any other boxing glove, from 8 oz up to 20 oz!

All Twins (kick)boxing gloves in our assortment are made of 100% genuine leather. Despite the thickness of more than 1 millimeter, the gloves retain their resilience. This leather thickness ensures a longer lifespan and better durability of the boxing gloves.

Reinforced wrist with strengthened velcro closure
Almost all Twins models in our assortment have a wide and long velcro closure. A long closure means the strap goes completely around the wrist before fastening. This provides significant reinforcement of the wrists and stays closed better than a short closure.
The thumbs are always stitched to the fists as they should be on every good (kick)boxing glove. The gloves are also always neatly and precisely finished with double stitching everywhere. Another feature is the palm rib, also with reinforced protection.

Thick, multi-layer foam padding for optimal protection.
Twins gloves have more padding on the back/side of the hand than a regular boxing glove. They are made for Thai boxing, but are also suitable for kickboxing and boxing.
This padding is necessary due to blocking kicks and backfist strikes. A Twins glove offers slightly less knuckle protection than a "classic" boxing glove of similar weight. This is because the weight is distributed over other parts of the glove.
How do the Twins boxing gloves (BGVL3/4/8 and BGN) fit?
Twins boxing gloves generally fit large and are suitable for both wide and normal hands.
Although Twins boxing gloves are quite wide, they are also suitable for people with "normal" hands. There is enough room to properly wrap your handwraps.
They are known for their somewhat larger padding size.
Our experience is that Twins feel tight at first (which is normal), but they become considerably roomier (break in) with use.
