They are soft, usually inflatable balls that resemble a hopper ball and originated in physiotherapy.
Training with yogaballs is mainly focused on balance and coordination and increasing your core stability.
Versatile training equipment
By practicing with a yoga ball, you train multiple muscles and muscle groups simultaneously, including those of your core, back, abdomen, legs, and upper body.
Some well-known exercises are seated weightlifting or the 'dead bug', which effectively trains, among others, the abdominal muscles.
