Size guide for men's groinguards - from boys' XXS to adults' XXL
XPRT Basic men's: available from XXS (boys) to XL in White, and XS to XL in Black—the widest size range in our collection.
Shock Doctor models (SD213, SD329, Core Bioflex, Ultrapro 337): S to XXL—measure your waist circumference for the correct size.
Rival RNFL series (RNFL Pro, RNFL10, RNFL100): S to XL. The RNFL10-360 D3O is available in M and L.

Velcro or laces – closure systems for professional groinguards boxing
Most groin protectors have an elastic band—no fastening required, just pull them on.
For professional kidney and groin protectors for boxing, there are two options.

Maintaining your men’s groinguard – keeping it hygienic and durable
Loose groin protectors (XPRT Basic, Shock Doctor SD213, SD329, Booster G8, Twins Steel G3): easy to clean with a damp cloth and mild cleaning product. Always let them air out after use.
Compression shorts (Shock Doctor Core Bioflex, Ultrapro 337): follow the washing instructions on the label. Wash after every training session.
Professional leather kidney and groin protectors (Rival RNFL10, Cleto Reyes, Rival No-Foul Guerrero): regularly treat with a leather conditioner. Never store them in a closed bag.

Why are groinguards for boxing so different from regular jockstraps?
A boxing groin protector or no-foul protector often has a larger padded area than a separate cup. This means coverage around the groin, hips and lower abdomen varies by model.
Check the model's actual coverage and intended use. The product name alone does not guarantee protection for specific organs or against every type of strike.
Is a groinguard mandatory?
That depends on the sport, type of practice, and competition rules. A groinguard may be recommended or required during training, but there is no universal rule that applies equally to every martial art, every exam, and every participant.
Check the equipment requirements for your training session or event and choose a model designed for that purpose. A proper fit and secure fastening remain important, even when the groinguard is required.
Can groinguards and cups be washed?
Clean the parts separately. Remove a removable cup from the fabric shorts before washing them. Wipe the cup clean after use with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it dry thoroughly. Clean larger padded no-foul protectors by wiping them down, not by putting them whole in the washing machine. Don’t forget the belts, fastenings and lining.
What size groinguard should I get?
Use the size chart for the groinguard in question. For many models, waist circumference is the starting point, but the fit and dimensions of the protective parts vary by model.
A waist measurement therefore does not guarantee that every cup or protector fits equally well. Compare the listed measurements and check the positioning and fastening; do not use the chart for another model.
