Top Ten headgear

The Top Ten brand originated in martial arts and is a brand of Budoland, a leading manufacturer of martial arts equipment. Budoland was founded in 1992 by Peter Kruckenhauser in Germany. 

Top Ten is known for its equipment for kickboxing and boxing, among other disciplines, and is used worldwide at various championships, including the Olympic Games. 

They are, among other things, the official head and equipment sponsor of WAKO and ITF.

Martial arts such as karate, taekwondo, boxing, kickboxing, and MMA all involve a degree of contact with practitioners’ heads. Wearing good headgear in these martial arts is essential for the practitioner’s safety.

We usually do two things in our showroom:

1. Quickly shake your head from side to side
2. Tap all sides of the headgear. Preferably use a slightly sliding technique to force friction.

If the headgear barely moves or does not move at all and does not pinch at the same time, you have the right size!

The Top Ten Avantgarde is ITF Approvedand made of specially hygienic rubber— an indestructible material that withstands intensive use. The specially shaped contours protect the eyes, while 9 ventilation holes at the top ensure optimal cooling.

In semi-contact competitions, the two participants are distinguished by the colors red (Hong) and blue (Chong). Headgear, gloves, and safety kicks must be in these colors so that the referee can award points correctly. The Avantgarde is available in both required competition colors.
