The lining has silicone beads so the shin guards won’t slip on sweaty shins. Furthermore, it is the only shin guard with a real difference between left and right.

There is also an extra piece of elastic under the foot where shin guards normally transition into the stitched edges of the foot. This significantly increases the lifespan of the elastics.
