XPRT boxing gloves - designed in the Netherlands, built for the ring

XPRT Fight Gear is a Dutch brand founded in 2005 through personal experience in martial arts. Not an import brand, not a middleman—XPRT is designed by people who train themselves and know what a boxing glove needs to do.

The result: a complete range from entry-level to premium, from synthetic leather for beginners to 100% cowhide leather for advanced users. Each model offers a unbeatable price-to-quality ratio and a clean finish you would expect from brands at twice the price.

Fight2Win is XPRT’s permanent partner for the Benelux and supplies the complete range directly from its own stock in Waddinxveen.

From entry-level to the ring. All XPRT boxing glove models compared.

  • Competitor Camo V2 (children) – same foundation as the V1, but with a camouflage design
  • Enforcer V4 (children + adults) – synthetic leather, 2–16 oz depending on the version. Multi-layer padding, timeless design in Phantom, Carnage, Gravel, and Bomber

The right size boxing gloves. How to choose correctly.

The size of a boxing glove is expressed in ounces (oz) and depends on your body weight and what you use the gloves for.

Children:

  • 2-4 oz - toddlers and preschoolers
  • 6 oz - children up to approximately 8 years old
  • 8 oz - children approximately 8-12 years old
  • 10 oz - older children and teenagers

Adults:

  • 10 oz - competition or light sparren (up to approximately 60 kg)
  • 12 oz - training and sparren (up to approximately 70 kg)
  • 14 oz - training and sparren (70-85 kg)
  • 16 oz - training and sparren (85 kg+), or extra protection for your training partner
  • 18 oz - heavyweights and intensive sparren (only available in the Pro V3)

Bag training vs. sparren: for bag training, you can choose one size lighter than for sparren. For sparren, the heavier the glove, the better the protection for your partner.

Fit: Top Gloves have a narrower, snug fit. The Icon MX has a roomier fit that works well for wide hands. Not sure? Come try them on in our showroom in Waddinxveen.

XPRT has one of the widest color ranges in its price category.

Periodically treat the leather with a leather cleaner or conditioner

  • Keep the leather out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources

Frequently asked questions — XPRT boxing gloves

Are pink boxing gloves just as good as gloves in other colors?

Yes.

The color does not affect the quality of the boxing gloves. However, please bear in mind that there are no pink, green, or blue cows. The leather (or synthetic leather) is always dyed. The color may therefore become less attractive over time.

Your boxing gloves can certainly be a little feminine, so go for the color you like best! Any extra motivation is always welcome, right?

Can my child use boxing gloves for multiple martial arts?

Yes.

The child can certainly use the boxing gloves for multiple sports. Sports such as kickboxing naturally use boxing gloves, but a completely different self-defense sport such as Krav Maga also uses also boxing gloves.

This of course does not apply to all martial arts, so we recommend checking with the gym where you plan to send the child.

At what age can my child start boxing or kickboxing?

There is no specific age requirement. The youngest possible age is around 4, but most gyms set the minimum age at 7 or 8. Please check with the gym you would like to take the child to.

How can I best maintain my XPRT boxing gloves?

Boxing gloves have a limited lifespan. After all, they are used for hitting, and boxing gloves often take quite a beating.

Of course, you can influence their lifespan yourself by treating them with care and boxing gloves properly care for them. Don’t throw them in a corner; take them out of your sports bag and let them dry properly (not in direct sunlight).

Is there a difference between kickboxing gloves and boxing gloves?

No.

Actually, there is no difference.

Some brands are more focused on boxing, while others are more focused on kickboxing and thai boxing.

There are some minor differences, but in practice you can use boxing gloves for kickboxing and kickboxing gloves for boxing.

Is there a difference between women’s and men’s boxing gloves?

No.

There are not really any dedicated women's boxing gloves. Boxing gloves are unisex, but women usually simply choose a lighter boxing glove (that is, a smaller size). These are available in various color combinations.

Women generally have somewhat narrower hands than men, so it is better not to choose a boxing glove that is too heavy. We have created a separate selection within our range of boxing gloves that are more suitable for women because of their fit.

What is the background of the XPRT brand?

The story of XPRT Fight Gear begins in 2005. An enthusiastic martial artist and entrepreneur has been dreaming for years of a shop full of the finest fighting gear, available and accessible to everyone.

Through personal experiences in the form of training camps, seminars, competitions, and research, he gained a clear vision of how to offer martial arts, combat sports, and martial arts equipment to a broader audience in the new millennium.

With extensive experience in Thai boxing, boxing, karate, and especially ITF Taekwon-do, Fight2Win takes its first steps toward a complete product range. Initially, this consisted exclusively of ITF Taekwon-do uniforms and safety equipment under the Taekwon-do.nl brand and website.

Then came the slogan: Fight2WinAnd eventually, with the help of other martial artists and graphic designers, a logo and name emerged for a groundbreaking and affordable martial arts brand: XPRT Fight Gear!
