Yes and no.This depends on the brand and model. The cup (the hard part) can and almost never needs to be washed. Most regular groinguards come in a kind of sports shorts (jockstrap). You can then remove the cup and wash the shorts.The larger kidney and groinguards (No-Foul) designed for boxing obviously cannot be washed in a washing machine. This is actually not necessary. However, you can simply wipe them down and dry them to keep them fresh. You obviously cannot wash the steel cups either. The metal is not resistant to this.
