Punching bag maintenance

Wipe the outside of the punching bag with a slightly damp cloth to remove sweat and dirt. Do not use harsh cleaning products, as they can damage the material and shorten the punching bag’s lifespan.
Make sure the punching bag is hung in a dry environment to prevent mold.
Use leather grease/leather conditioner once a month to prevent cracking and drying out (for leather punching bags).
Always wear punching bag gloves and/or handwraps.
Check the chain and suspension system for signs of wear. If they are damaged, you must replace them.
Over time, a punching bag will “settle.” The filling compresses under the force of gravity. In most cases, you can refill the punching bag yourself from the top with suitable filling.
