Taekwon-do belts measuring 210 cm are recommended for adult men and women. Belts measuring 170 cm or 190 cm are suitable for shorter women and juniors.

White represents the beginning—the first step in ITF Taekwon-do. Every grandmaster once wore a white belt. The ITF White Taekwon-do belt is for practitioners of 10th and 9th kup who have just begun their journey in the martial art of General Choi Hong Hi.

The belt is available in three sizes: 170 cm for children, 190 cm for juniors and women, and 210 cm for men—so every practitioner can wear the correct length.
