Correct according to ITF regulations - wrapped around the waist once
According to the ITF regulations and General Choi Hong Hi’s Encyclopedia of Taekwon-do, the belt should be wrapped once around the waist—not twice as in other martial arts. This distinguishes ITF Taekwon-do from other styles and is a deliberate choice within the tradition of the style.
The belt is available in three sizes: 170 cm for children, 190 cm for juniors and women, and 210 cm for men—so every practitioner can wear the correct length.

The belt is stitched multiple times for a sturdy construction that retains its shape, even after frequent use and washing. A good belt should fit securely and not fray—this model meets those requirements.
