The ITF Taekwon-do belts are available in the most commonly used standard lengths, namely: 170 cm, 190 cm, and 210 cm.

Taekwon-do belts of 210 cm are recommended for adult men and women. For smaller women and juniors, there are 170 cm or 190 cm belts.

According to the ITF regulations and General Choi Hong Hi's Encyclopedia of Taekwon-do, the belt should be wrapped once around the waist. The Black belt is available in 190 cm (juniors and women) and 210 cm (men).

For dan holders who want an embroidered belt showing their rank, Fight2Win also offers the Chang Hon dan belts—with ITF and Taekwon-do embroidered in Korean, and the rank indicated in Roman numerals.
