My name is Gabriël, and I have now been interning at Fight2win for a month. I’m really enjoying it and learning a lot about martial arts and the products we sell for practicing these sports. The latest film in the Creed boxing franchise, Creed 3, was recently released. Since I had already seen all the previous films, I naturally had to see this one in the cinema too. I decided to go see the film with my cousins after finishing my workday at my internship. I also told them about the film, and we came up with the idea of writing a short blog about it.
Creed 3 is the latest installment in the popular boxing franchise, and fans were eagerly looking forward to its release. The film promises to deliver all the thrilling action and emotional drama that audiences have come to expect from the Creed series. If you have seen the previous Creed films, you know that a great deal of attention is paid to the journey to the top. In the previous films, Adonis Creed trains with former boxer Rocky Balboa to become world champion.
Creed 3 is different
Creed 3 takes a slightly different approach. Adonis has retired from boxing after becoming champion in the second film. He now focuses on his gym and wants to help young talent become as successful as he is. Together with his old trainer Duke, he runs the gym, and one exceptional boxing talent has emerged who is so good that there are no longer any sparring partners willing to fight him.
Creed 3 gives us a completely different perspective on Adonis from what we are used to in the previous films. We see a younger version of him appear in the film, which is something we had not seen in the previous two installments. This creates a sense of relief because the previous two films were very similar in terms of their story. Now the film takes a completely different direction, making it even more exciting and enjoyable.
In this story, Adonis’s old best friend, Dame, returns. He used to be one of the best boxers of his age, but unfortunate circumstances prevented him from reaching his full potential. In the film, Dame returns to Adonis’s life after a long time, and his goal is to return to the highest level. That is why he asks Adonis for help, but ultimately the film takes a completely different turn...
What distinguishes Creed 3 from its predecessors is the new creative team behind the camera. Director Michael B. Jordan, who also plays Adonis Creed, offers a fresh perspective on the franchise and promises to take the story in exciting new directions. Of course, no Creed film would be complete without a talented cast. Alongside Jordan, the film features returning stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, and Wood Harris, as well as newcomers such as Jonathan Majors and Indya Moore.

What stood out to me in the film was that Cleto Reyes fight gear was used not only during the boxing matches but also during the intense training sessions. After the film, I genuinely felt like I could take on the whole world, and I really found myself wondering what it would be like if I could fight as well as the actors in the film. When I look at Michael B. Jordan’s physique and/or Jonathan Majors’s, I feel even more motivated to train and one day have a body like that too.
