A training session in an unusual setting for the SENSHI heavyweights took place today at an interesting location: the Pantheon in Varna, Bulgaria.
The specially selected fighters participating in the SENSHI Invitational Camp trained outdoors in a Bulgarian coastal city, facing biting winds, low temperatures, and conditions far removed from the comfort of a sports hall.
The professional fighters in the weight classes above 85 kg were put to an additional test by the weather, cold, and wind.

The city’s iconic landmark, popular with locals for walks and sports, was transformed into a training ground for the SENSHI camp’s kickboxers.
During an exhausting 90-minute session, they proved that no force of nature can stop them from training. Sparring in the open air, fast sprints up the monument’s stairs, and technical drills were carried out in a spirit of teamwork and individual competition.

A diverse group of athletes guided by legends
The 14 athletes from 7 countries - Germany, Italy, Romania, Serbia,
Greece, Cameroon, and Bulgaria - practiced fighting techniques under the expert guidance of combat sports legends Shihan Semmy Schilt and Ernesto Hoost,
demonstrating how determination, strong character, endurance, and the drive to develop new fighting skills are forged.
Dutch legend Shihan Semmy Schilt motivated every fighter to give 100%
effort with the words: "You are not here for me, you are not here for anyone else in this cold. Each of you is here for yourself. Train hard and chase your dream."
Ernesto Hoost led by example and showed the fighters that
a champion’s mentality is built continuously, regardless of time or circumstances, and that training can take place anywhere - not only within the confines of the mind or the gym.
The training camp lasts until March 22, 2026, with intensive sessions in which the
combat stars will raise their level alongside the elite SENSHI school.
