Gel wraps are ideal for athletes who want to train quickly without wrapping, or for athletes with sensitive knuckles who need extra cushioning. For maximum wrist support during heavy sparren, traditional handwraps remain the better choice.

Can I wash gel-wraps?

Yes.

The best way to wash Gel-wraps is to place them in a laundry bag or bra wash bag and wash them in the washing machine at 30°C or lower. Hand-washing is actually even better.

It is important to fasten the hook-and-loop closure before washing to prevent it from sticking to other clothes or to itself. After washing, allow the Gel-wraps to air-dry naturally. Do not put them in the dryer, as they may shrink and crease unnecessarily.

  • Partially roll up the Gel-wraps and place them in a laundry bag or bra wash bag. 
  • Wash the Gel-wraps in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C or hand-wash them.
  • Allow the Gel-wraps to air-dry, preferably hung out fully extended.
  • Do not put the Gel-wraps in the dryer. 

Extra tips:

  • Wash the Gel-wraps regularly (after every training session) to keep them hygienically clean and fresh.
  • You can optionally use a mild detergent, but rinse the Gel-wraps thoroughly to prevent soap residue.
  • Allow the Gel-wraps to dry completely after washing before using them again.
