More protection. Less knuckle pain.

The XPRT knuckle guards are the professional addition to your handwraps – for boxers and kickboxers who take their knuckles seriously.

XPRT knuckle guards provide extra knuckle protection on top of handwraps

Knuckle guards are not a replacement for handwraps – they are an addition. You first pull the XPRT Protect Gel over your fingers, then wrap your handwraps around them as usual. The result: an extra layer of gel padding on the knuckles that absorbs impact without taking up much space in your boxing gloves.

Ideal for athletes with sensitive or painful knuckles during intensive training.

EVA foam and gel – two layers of protection for the knuckles

Of XPRT Protect Gel combines a poly-cotton outer layer with padding made of EVA foam and gel. The gel layer absorbs impact gently and effectively, while the foam provides structure and shape. The whole thing weighs 141 grams per pair - light enough to wear comfortably under boxing gloves.

Washable at low temperatures and easy to put on yourself without help from a coach.

For boxers and kickboxers who want extra protection for their knuckles

From XPRT knuckle guards are suitable for boxing, kickboxing and thai boxing - for adults seeking more protection than handwraps alone provide. They are available in one-size-fits-most and fit all types of handwraps and boxing gloves.

Both recreational athletes and advanced practitioners benefit from the extra knuckle protection during heavy bag and pad work.

Frequently asked questions — XPRT knuckle guards

What is the background of the XPRT brand?

The story of XPRT Fight Gear begins in 2005. An enthusiastic martial artist and entrepreneur has been dreaming for years of a shop full of the finest fighting gear, available and accessible to everyone.

Through personal experiences in the form of training camps, seminars, competitions, and research, he gained a clear vision of how to offer martial arts, combat sports, and martial arts equipment to a broader audience in the new millennium.

With extensive experience in Thai boxing, boxing, karate, and especially ITF Taekwon-do, Fight2Win takes its first steps toward a complete product range. Initially, this consisted exclusively of ITF Taekwon-do uniforms and safety equipment under the Taekwon-do.nl brand and website.

Then came the slogan: Fight2WinAnd eventually, with the help of other martial artists and graphic designers, a logo and name emerged for a groundbreaking and affordable martial arts brand: XPRT Fight Gear!

What is polycotton?

Polycotton is a fabric made from a blend of cotton and polyester fibers. The ratio of fibers can vary, but 80% polyester and 20% cotton are often used for handwraps. For our karate and taekwon-do uniforms, the ratio is usually 65% polyester and 35% cotton.

Polycotton combines the benefits of both materials: the breathability of cotton and the durability and quick-drying properties of polyester.

Why is polycotton used?

  • More durable: polyester makes the fabric stronger and more resistant to wear than pure cotton.
  • Wrinkle-resistant: polycotton is much less prone to wrinkling than 100% cotton. This is especially useful for martial arts uniforms, as they require less ironing.
  • Quick-drying: polyester fibers dry faster than cotton, which is useful for sportswear and sports equipment.
  • Economical: polycotton is cheaper than 100% cotton.
  • Versatile: polycotton is suitable for various applications, such as clothing and handwraps.
  • More elastic: handwraps are more comfortable with a little stretch. 100% cotton has no stretch at all.
