The Krav maga trousers are machine washable, but always check the care instructions first:

• Always check first whether the label contains any special washing instructions.
• Wash inside out
• Wash separately or with similar colours (black)
• Machine wash cold, at a maximum of 40°C
• Choose a low spin speed
• You can use a tumble dryer on a low setting, but preferably air-dry them outside
• Iron your trousers so you look smart and presentable

Polycotton is a fabric made from a blend of cotton and polyester fibers. The ratio of fibers can vary, but 80% polyester and 20% cotton are often used for handwraps. For our karate and taekwon-do uniforms, the ratio is usually 65% polyester and 35% cotton.

Polycotton combines the benefits of both materials: the breathability of cotton and the durability and quick-drying properties of polyester.

Why is polycotton used?

• More durable: polyester makes the fabric stronger and more resistant to wear than pure cotton. 
• Wrinkle-resistant: polycotton is much less prone to wrinkling than 100% cotton. This is especially useful for martial arts uniforms, as they require less ironing.
• Quick-drying: polyester fibers dry faster than cotton, which is useful for sportswear and sports equipment. 
• Economical: polycotton is cheaper than 100% cotton. 
• Versatile: polycotton is suitable for various applications, such as clothing and handwraps.
• More elastic: handwraps are more comfortable with a little stretch. 100% cotton has no stretch at all.
