Shaping and customizing SafeJawz mouthguard:

This guide provides instructions for fitting your SAFEJAWZ Intro-Series, Extro-Series, or Ortho-Series mouthguard.

First, you will need:

• A kettle
• A bowl
• A mirror
• Cold running water
• A spoon

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Boil water in the kettle and pour the hot water into a bowl.
2. Immediately place the mouthguard in the hot water for 30 seconds. If the mouthguard begins to shrink before the 30 seconds are up, remove it immediately and proceed to the next step.
3. Carefully remove the mouthguard from the hot water with the spoon.
4. Suck on your lips and carefully place the mouthguard in your mouth.
5. While looking in the mirror, align the mouthguard with the midline of your upper teeth and gently bite down on the mouthguard, closing your lips over it. Be careful not to bite through the mouthguard.
6. Suck on the mouthguard while using your fingers on the outside of your lips to gently press it into your teeth and gum line. Do this for 30 seconds.
7. Remove the mouthguard and place it under cold running water for 30 seconds.
8. Place it back in your mouth and test to see if it fits properly. If the fit is not perfect, repeat the entire process again.
