What can I do to keep my Shock Doctor mouthguard hygienically clean and fresh?

It is best to clean your mouthguard after every use. At a minimum, rinse the shock Doctor mouthguard under running water.

You do this to remove bacteria that can grow and multiply in your mouthguard.

The best step-by-step plan for keeping your mouthguard clean:

1. Rinse:
Rinse your mouthguard under lukewarm water immediately after use to remove food particles and saliva.

2. Clean:
Use a soft toothbrush and a special mouthguard cleaner to clean the mouthguard.

3. Rinse thoroughly:
After cleaning, rinse the mouthguard thoroughly under running water to remove all residue.

4. Dry:
Allow the mouthguard to air-dry completely. It is best to do this in a clean, ventilated Protective case specially made for this purpose.

5. Store:
