You do this to remove bacteria that can grow and multiply in your mouthguard.

The best step-by-step plan for keeping your mouthguard clean:

1. Rinse:
Rinse your mouthguard under lukewarm water immediately after use to remove food particles and saliva.

2. Clean:
Use a soft toothbrush and a special mouthguard cleaner to clean the mouthguard.

3. Rinse thoroughly:
After cleaning, rinse the mouthguard thoroughly under running water to remove all residue.

4. Dry:
Allow the mouthguard to air-dry completely. It’s best to do this in a clean, ventilated anti-microbial Protective case specially designed for this purpose.
