What is the story behind Everlast?

Everlast Worldwide Incorporated is an American sports equipment brand focused on boxing, mixed martial arts, and fitness, marketing its products worldwide. The company was founded in The Bronx and is currently based in Manhattan.

It was founded in 1910 and has since grown into one of the most recognized names in the combat sports industry. Everlast is a key part of boxing gyms around the world and is often associated with classic old-school boxing.

What is the best way to wash Everlast handwraps?

You can best wash the Everlast handwraps by placing them in a laundry bag or bra bag and washing them in the washing machine at 30°C or lower. Hand-washing is actually even better.

It is important to fasten the Velcro together before washing to prevent it from catching on other clothes or itself. After washing, allow the handwraps to air-dry naturally. Do not put them in the dryer, as they may shrink and crease unnecessarily.

  • Partially roll up the handwraps and place them in a laundry bag or bra bag. 
  • Wash the handwraps in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C or hand-wash them.
  • Allow the handwraps to air-dry, preferably hung up fully extended.
  • Do not put the handwraps in the dryer. 

Extra tips:

  • Wash the handwraps regularly (after every training session) to keep them hygienically clean and fresh.
  • You can optionally use a mild detergent, but rinse the handwraps thoroughly to prevent soap residue.
  • Allow the handwraps to dry completely after washing before using them again.
