Boxing Glove Care Bundle - complete set

The bundle combines products for the inside (deodorizer + spray) and outside (leather grease or Vaseline) of your gloves. Together, they keep your boxing gloves fresher, more hygienic, and in top condition for longer.

Contents - choose your own combination

The bundle consists of products from the following categories—choose what suits you in each category:

Deodorizers (moisture-absorbing and odor-neutralizing through moso bamboo charcoal): Hayabusa, No-Stink, Rival, or King Pro. Place them in your gloves after training, let them dry, and reuse them.

Disinfectant sprays (cleans bacteria rather than merely masking odors): FreshKO (mint scent, mint and alcohol) or Sukkiri (eucalyptus scent, 60% natural alcohol, 2-way spray head). One spray is sufficient; each bottle lasts 6–9 months.

Care for the outside: Rapide Leather grease (acid-free, mineral oils and waxes, 150 ml—keeps leather supple and water-repellent) or Vaseline Phyto Performance (250 ml, paraben-free—also suitable as a protective layer during competitions).

How do you use the bundle?

After every training session: place the deodorizer in your gloves. Spray the disinfectant spray inside the gloves. Periodically rub the leather grease or Vaseline into the outside. Start right away with new gloves for optimal results.

Why do I need both a deodorizer and a spray?

A deodorizer and a spray each serve a different purpose. The deodorizer (bamboo charcoal) draws moisture out of the glove after training and passively neutralizes odors. The spray actively disinfects by killing bacteria with alcohol. Together, they tackle the problem from two sides—moisture and bacteria—for optimal results.

What do I use the leather grease in the bundle for?

Rapide Original Leather grease is for the outside of your leather boxing gloves. Sweat and care products contain acids that eventually damage the leather—it becomes dull, dry, and brittle. The acid-free leather grease keeps the leather supple, flexible, and water-repellent. Regular use significantly extends the lifespan of your gloves.

Why do (kick)boxers use petroleum jelly?

Boxers use Vaseline to make the skin on their face smoother and more supple.

This reduces the rubbing of punches against the skin, thereby reducing cuts. Any blood from small cuts will also clot more easily.

Vaseline creates a layer that minimizes friction with the skin, making cuts less likely to occur. This also reduces the risk of a match being stopped due to a serious cut.
