Impressive Statistics: 373 Fighters and 119 Knockouts at SENSHI

Statistics from all SENSHI editions to date highlight the organization's scale, while the fight card of the 30th anniversary edition promises even more action.

Since its very first edition on February 23, 2019, the international fight promotion SENSHI has organized 29 spectacular events, serving as a stage for today’s elite fighters. Over these seven years, the gala nights have helped shape young talents and rising stars in combat sports.

The organization’s statistics are truly impressive, which is why we are sharing some of the most remarkable figures. A total of 373 fighters from 59 countries have stepped into the SENSHI ring, with an interesting fact being that 14% of them are Bulgarian. After Bulgaria, the countries with the highest number of participants are Spain, France, Romania, Brazil, the Netherlands, and Serbia. Italy, Turkey, and Morocco also rank in the TOP 10 with their fighters appearing on the arena. Among the professional athletes who have competed for the promotion, there are 11 women.

The 29 SENSHI editions held so far have featured 347 bouts and 119 spectacular knockouts, with many fighters rising to the global stage and making impressive debuts. The promotion has crowned six European champions and determined its first-ever Grand Prix champion in the over 95 kg category. The year with the highest number of fights was 2023, during which audiences witnessed a total of 71 matches.

What lies ahead in 2026? Five major Grand Prix tournaments across different weight categories and even more action. Check out the fight card of the first tournament in the up to 75 kg division, which will take place on February 28 in Varna, Bulgaria. Tickets are available at the network of Eventim.bg.

Fighters in the SENSHI Grand Prix

The fight card of the lightweight tournament up to 75 kg, held under the promotion’s KWU FULL CONTACT rules, includes the following bouts:

· Carlos Barbosa (Brazil) vs. Zhulien Rikov (Bulgaria)

· Constantin Rusu (Moldova) vs. Florin Lambagiu (Romania)

· Jordi Requejo (Spain) vs. Konstantin Stoykov (Bulgaria)

· Jorge Davila (Spain) vs. Christian Baya (DR Congo)

The reserve bouts for the SENSHI Grand Prix, whose winners have a real chance to enter the title race, are:

· Aibek Amanov (Kazakhstan) vs. Viktor Krashevski (Bulgaria)

· Fernando Tigre (Portugal) vs. David Kinhefner (Hungary)

The winners of the opening bouts will face each other in the semifinals, followed by a third-place match and the grand final, which will determine the SENSHI Grand Prix champion in the up to 75 kg category.

Super Fights at SENSHI 30

Alongside the elimination championship tournament, the upcoming fight show SENSHI 30 will also feature three super fights under KWU FULL CONTACT rules:

· Hirokatsu Miyagi (Japan) vs. Samo Petje (Slovenia) – up to 70 kg category

· Charalampos Digkas (Greece) vs. Diyan Dimitrov (Bulgaria) – up to 70 kg category

· Francesko Xhaja (Albania) vs. Giannis Stoforidis (Greece) – 95+ kg category
