Kickboxing shorts are wide and short—maximum freedom of movement for high kicks, but with little fabric. MMA shorts are slightly longer and have a sturdier construction, making them suitable for ground fighting and takedowns, where the fabric is subjected to greater stress. The Joker has a slightly longer fit than standard kickboxing shorts—more comfortable for ground work and more versatile to wear.
