In our store, we often get asked about the difference between boxing gloves and kickboxing gloves.
Nowadays, there is little difference, and you can use all the boxing gloves from our store for both boxing and kickboxing. We will explain the small differences that do exist below.

The classic boxing glove
We sell various top models of classic boxing gloves, including those from the new Italian boxing brand Boxia Italy and from the famous Cleto Reyes.
These are truly classic boxing gloves, as evidenced by the long, flat cuff. The Cleto Reyes boxing gloves are also roomier on the inside, allowing professional boxers to wear them even with heavily wrapped hands.
Cleto Reyes boxing gloves come with a hefty price tag, but you get truly exceptional gloves for your money. They're made using the very best quality leather – truly top of the line!
The gloves are handcrafted in Mexico by skilled artisans. The lining is water-repellent, keeping the gloves super fresh and maintaining the quality of the filling.
It is therefore not surprising that the Cleto Reyes boxing gloves are worn during important boxing matches.

The different kickboxing gloves
There are significant differences between the various brands and models. What we personally find comfortable and pleasant is extra padding on the palm and wrist.
This provides extra comfort during sparring and training. When absorbing kicks and punches, that little bit of extra padding is really nice and it also protects your vulnerable wrist area better. The Twins BGN boxing glove excels in this regard.
The King Pro boxing gloves are also great for training. The extended wrist piece provides extra support and protection for your wrist.
The King Pro kickboxing gloves also guarantee a firm padding, a thumb protector and a comfortable fit. And then there are the Thor gloves. This is King Pro's brand new line of boxing gloves.
The biggest difference lies in the closure and the extra padding around the boxing gloves. It's a super nice glove, but it comes with a hefty price tag.
The various XPRT models are attractively priced. For example, the XPRT Top Gloves are made of leather and have padding around the wrist.
This provides a comfortable feeling, and the long Velcro closure ensures the glove stays perfectly in place. This model also features thick padding, a thumb protector, and reinforced seams.
So, if you're looking for the boxing glove with the best price-performance ratio, we recommend the XPRT Top Gloves.
Of course, you are also welcome to visit our store to see the difference between boxing gloves and kickboxing gloves with your own eyes. We are open 6 days a week. Free parking is available right outside the door!
